Should Duhamel get a '*' if he wins tomorrow?

There's that mumbling that if Duhamel get a 5th victory tomorrow, that it
should have a * because "it's not superbike".

To be fair, it's not the same track either, the rules are different, etc.

Didn't Scott Russel win one from starting 28th on the grid because they used
pace cars that year and he was able to close up and eventually win? Did he
    get a '*' for that?

Mark would know, but I'm curious how the FX bikes are in terms of
performance and laptimes (difficult to compare because the tracks are so
different, but...perhaps there's another common track they've both run) vs
    the 750's during Russells day.

So, anyway, just stirring up conversation.

    Regards,

Ah, yes. That'll be the year the Americans cheated Foggy out of a
    victory. <grin>

  3. so how is this Miguel's fault? he somehow keeps the other factories
out of FX? he personnaly decided the the Daytona 200 this year would
    be FX ?

People organize the race, people ride the race, one guy wins. period.

  4. I agree it could have been a better race, but I DON'T agree that it
    means he needs a *.
Hell, many years the Superbowl is a let down too, but the same
    trophy is given out.
