The guy I delivered Timo's old Mitsubishi Evo to has now asked me to
take two Evo Vs over for him and a friend. I've found a local mate to
drive the other car but we need short term insurance for the trip.

Can someone please give me a link to the site that was posted a few
weeks ago as I can't find it anywhere.

Nothing went wrong last time I took an Evop to Austria, so why should
it on this trip. The two cars we're taking this time look to have been
    very well cared for.

I don't mind in some ways cos it's prompted me to splash out on a T reg
Fiesta 1.25 that a friend has going spare. I'll insure that and either
take the Evo over on the CIHAGM cover or add it to the policy for a
week if CIHAGM doesn't cover useage sur le continent.

Thanks Wessie, but it's not much use to me as they only cover driving
    in the UK.

  12. Doesn't all car insurance by law provide the minimum cover necessary for
    driving in other EU countries?

Their monthly "Pay As You Go" cover includes Europe, is that too
expensive? I used it when I took Platy's VFR to Chimay and it wasn't
much different to a week's short term cover.

AFAIK CIHAGM cover doesn't extend to countries foreign. I believe we
    discussed this on here before.
