Bought one of these today to replace my ageing, knackered old Shoei which
I've dropped at least twice (although less bothered by that after reading
the Ride [or was it Bike?] drop tests. Beginning to think it's the best
helmet I've owned, cetainly the lightest and the quietest, comfort, well,
time will tell, bit headachy at the moment. Cheap too, since I went for
the Haydon replica which I guess has got cheaper since he got the boot,
    heh.

    But...

Some googling has led me to believe that the helmet is supplied with a
breath guard doobrey and some sort of chin cover. I wore it out of the
shop, told them to discard the old one, and got only a Shoei bag with it.
Anyone got one who can tell me I'm missing some bits or otherwise?

Daz secured a place in history by writing:
Ta very much, I'll get on the phone tomorrow and whinge. What's the
    material strip for?

I bought it with a photo-sensitive Fog-City (been a fan since they appeared
in the UK, but not had the photo-sensitive one before),so I probably don't
care for the breath deflector either, but there is a principle here :)

Anyone got one of the PS Fog Citys? Any comments?

Yup got a Z-One with a photo sensitive fog city.

Bits missing: there's a "chin extender" which clips under the bottom
edge of the chin guard which reduces cold air under your chin quite
well (nothing spectacular though). And another piece of rubber/plastic
that comes up from the bottom of the visor opening and deflects breath
down away from visor. I find it rubs the tip of my nose & don't use
    this bit.

Fog City - great, turns a nice shade of blue in bright sun light. Not
as good as a race black visor, but fine for 99% of the times you need
it. Goes clear enough at night to not need to swap the visrs.
