  1. Evening All

Can anyone suggest a shipping company for shipping a bike to the US by sea
freight and any other experiences etc people may have had doing so?

    Many thanks

  4. One bike would be expensive as it has to go LCL, while the freight rate
would be low, its all the bullshit charges that sting you, unloading fee,
this and that charge all adds up...

Get a quote for airfreight you might be surprised it wont be much more
    approx. US$4 a kilo

  7. Yeah, bend over.

Nah, just joking. This guy had already emailed me and I can help him
if he gets back to me but so far he's not done that.
Recovering. The bikes not yet back from the painters and my knee is
healed but my back & shoulder are coming right slowly. Have been on a
bike several times lately (we bought Maggie a Z750 - good bike - and I
had the unfortunate task of running it in while she was working) with
no ill effects so I'm looking forward to getting the ZRX back for the
Summer months here and in NZ and next March it's off to the UK.

Would like to catch up with you lot at the National Dinner but we'll
be at P.I. by then with a group of 125cc racers from NZ so have a good
one and we might see you at the Isle of White pub on the Friday night.

    Kind regards
