    <snigger> You said SV-jazzle!

One of my Yr 12s has been saying for months "It's time you left your youth
behind, Miss, and gave up riding that bike. You're not getting any younger
you know." Cheeky little bastard. If I HAD been contemplating quitting,
that would've been enough to drive the thought right out of my head.

A couple of weeks ago on the Snowy Ride, we found it amusing to watch all
these riders in full leathers roll up to the Brumby Bar on really hot
sportsbikes and take off their helmets - most of them had grey or white
hair! I reckon the average age of riders was at least 50. So much for
motorcycling being the province of the young - pfffffft!

Yeah, but Emo's aren't dead. They just look like they wish they were.

My 16yo grandson told me he is an Indie. WTF is an Indie?

Yeah, my post prompted me to do a bit of research. Sort of like a Monty
    Python "We're all Independent".

  14. If you have a look at her blog around June you'll see she says she did
buy a car. Maybe she traded it in on a new SV.

  15. It's a Canberra thing. I sold a Kwaka Z750 in blue and then went and
bought another one (more new and blue). BTh has (had) several GPz 900
and I'm sure there was more than 1 postie bike in the shed as well.

I think she secretly wanted Brendan Nelson's 'busa, but the price wasn't
    right :)

An Indi would be a mixed up Indi-an?

  17. I realised that I should have used some sort of punctuation and left a space
    between music and lovers
or placed it back to front and made it "lovers of Independent music"

There would have been enough levers jammed in there to prevent any
    rattling...

Pat (congratulations Betty, but I could've sold you my WeeStrom...)

Yeah, seeing as you never ride the bloody thing anywhere!

I sat on a WeeStrom once, Pat. By the time one foot was flat on the ground,
the bloody thing would've already leaned past the point of no return... and
I couldn't touch the ground on the other side, either - even with the low
    seat option...

    Life's tough for shortarses ;-)
