    I apologize if this question has been asked many times before i tried

    Has the answer - download the spreadsheets and off you go.

    For max acceleration the basic idea is to maximise the
    torque at the rear wheel by choosing the appropriate gear for
    the speed.

    The graphs that allow this speed to be determined are
    often called tractive effort curves/plots/whatever.
