Sheesh.. What a Night

Good thing I got all the fields plowed and the hay in the barn.. The bottom
fell out.. Driving rain.. hail the size of marbles and the wind blew like
hell.. The Vulcan is all shined .. new coat of wax and the works.. Got those
spokes on the wheel shining like a diamond in a goat's .. whups.. Almost
said a dirty.. <chuckle> For the not so sensitive (don't read, now) ass..
Somebody, quick.. is this going to be the weather for the weekend..?? We're
headed for the east Texas piney's tomorrow, weather permitting.. Have a
good one..

Dang ... I don't know that a Vulcan could look that nice? It is
possible? Nah ... just a joke! Of course, if you painted it red,
put some HRC stickers on it, and removed the Kaw logos, I might
believe it. ; ).

 

Except for the color.. you described my old Vulcan pretty good.. The logos
were the first thing "off".. Course I do that with all my rides.. Hell.. I
ain't advertising for anybody.. Just a little pin-stripe detailing and
that's it.. All leather instead of the plastic.. Lot's of chrome and light
bars.. LOL.. I did leave one little emblem on the bike, just to satisfy
curiousity.. I've been detailing and riding this old thing for over seven
years.. When I bought it, I was dead in love with Heritage Classics and
couldn't afford one.. This old Vulcan of mine is close.. Now about that
"color" .. It's been described differently by damned near everyone who sees
it.. Haven't seen many with that color..Tell me they didn't do many of
them.. Until some Harley guy took a look and now I see Harley's all over the
place that look just like mine... LMAO.. hmmm... BTW.. looks like this damn
weather is going to keep me out of east Texas today.. dammit..

That's what I'm talking.. Definitely not a good day to head to the east of
the metroplex.. Hey .. keep it dry and we'll see you another weekend.. You
are right in the middle of where I wanted to be this weekend..
