I didn't realize that Louisiana had seceded from the U.S.A.

It was especially difficult, given the unconditional
support Saddam received from the radical right wing
extremists on the Reagan/bu$h regime for over a decade.
    You support big government intervention/oppression
at an obscene cost of innocent lives and tax payer
dollars because you "think" I'm a crazy kook? Are you
    nuts?

Instead of war profiteering, we'll have natural disaster
profiteering. Cheney's Halliburton has already been awarded
    contracts.

Well, to be honest, they certainly know how to pump water, lots of it...and
    quickly.
They shouldn't get a dime to do anything else, though.

  6. Thanks for the link. I am thinking about printing this report and framing
it as i have never seen verbage like this from the NWS.

What is even more interesting is the previous bulletin issued at about
1:00am the same day. It said basically to hurry with one's preparations
for the storm. Then about 10 hours later they issue a bulletin saying the
world is coming to an end. Depending on the time frame in question, I can
see where some people would say "I didn't know it was going to be this
    bad".

No idea. I heard on a new report that Halliburton is setting up the tent
cities. I don't know any details.
