'Shakey' Byrne is out for the rest of this year because of a badly
broken wrist, MCN has gone into detail telling us that the Scaphoid
bone is pointing 180` in the wrong direction. Sources closer to the
event disagree stating that they saw a full 360 followed by a Rock 'n'
fakie, a 50/50 grind and a Nose slide. This brings me to the more
serious nature of this statement, Shane Byrne's nickname. "Shakey" -
perhaps he should be called 'Shirky' Byrne.

[N.b. "Shirk" to evade or leave alone]
    Kevin Schwantz would have raced.

You think Shakey is "wimping out" or something? Please tell us about the
times you races with broken bones. Listen, if he is injured and can't
race then I'm relatively certain that he isn't "evading". What a tosser.....

And you say that Schwantz would have raced.....then why didn't he race
on after his last crash? If you really want to make a comparision then
do it with Barry Sheene and not Schwantz, much as I like Schwantz.
Sheene was the most charismatic racer that there ever was......period.

Well I do think he is wimping out. Kevin periodically raced with a
number of injuries. I have raced with a wrist injury following a fall
at a local circuit. Like I know I should'nt I put my hand out when I
lost the front. I did'nt get any pain from braking but only when
accelerating. Have a look at an Aprilia clothing sales booklet to see
what Byrnes team have to say about the man. This guy is just on an ego
    trip.
