  2. not sure yet. depends on whether I go to Philadelphia on the Sunday.
If I go to Philly I may just go for the Saturday and then go home
leaving you drunken masses to it. If I stayed I cant see me leaving
early enough to be home for my flight.
    yeah like thats gonna happen.

BTW, he wont see any of this cos he's working in York and then off to
Ireland again so prolly wont be back until the weekend after. good
start to married life, see each other for two days and then not for
    the next 26.

  6. One of the reasons Andy & I get on so well is the fact that he's away
during the week. god help us when we grow old(er in his case) and
    retire.

however, being away for three weeks two days after we got married is a
    little tough though.

  7. The faster you go the further to the rear the centre of the 'effective
sail area' becomes. As this gets further behind the centre of gravity so
    the more stable you become.
I've got my Whizz Wheel around somewhere.
    [FX rummage mutter more rummage]
Found it, it's an old Airtour CRP-1.
Now what moves its centre of sail area 5 feet over its speed range.

Yes while he was on the bike. Nearly dropped it when he had to put his
foot down (at the junction by Salad Dodger's campsite).

    Bummer.

However congratulations on the wedding! - I didn't find out until the
other day, but I'm really pleased for you both.

I gather there'll be a post wedding hen party??

  11. The Black Pig?

I can think of a helicopter, a frigate and Capt. Pugwash's boat but
they're not fast enough to have a 5 foot shift.

Is it the same as The Black Banana?

    That's the one.

    but
The crew took it in turns to wear the shift.
    Ripe and smelly? Probably.
