lot was washed down with approx 3 litres of coke.

Aye, one party after a heavy pub session I knocked back a bottle of JD
and a few bottles of beer ponced off two Outlaws who'd shown up (I was
very, very drunk). Didn't die, didn't even come close.

I was up at 7.30am, having passed out on the floor at 5.30am. Felt like
shit most of the next day but suspect that was as much to do with the
pharmaceuticals as the booze.

Happy days...

 

Thinking about it, it's only twice the Century Club rate.

Actually, no it's not, I'm talking crap.

[Century Club is a drinking game. Once a minute, for a hundred
minutes, drink 50ml of beer; flatish ale for preference, or Guiness.
Fosters or Stella if your a loon. TCs and pissing is allowed, but
only if you have a shot every minute...]

 

actually, CC played to full adb rules forbids pissing or vomiting
during the alloted 100 minutes.

Ah well. I played the CC before I learnt about using usenet to improve
my drinking pleasure.

 

My 18th birthday coincided with the day we left school, prior to A
levels. The whole Upper Sixth went up to the pub and much beer was
drunk - but I was constrained to Pernod, which I had acquired a taste
for over the preceding year or so. I recall having two full half-pint
glasses in front of me at one point, sitting in my usual chair.

They carried me back to school, still in the chair.

I apparently sat, rigid, in the chair in the Common Room for two hours
until a couple of big lads picked me up and sat me on a settee. When
I woke up the place was in darkness and I was as pissed as a fish in a
barrel of Bourbon. I made my way the 12 miles home by bus, arriving
just in time to get changed and out to a pub/restaurant with my
parents who wanted to buy my first legal drinks ...
I wasn't. I don't remember Saturday, apart from waking up in the bath
after I'd gone for a drink and the water had reactivated the alcohol
and I passed out - into the bath. Sunday was a _bad_ day.

Hmm. I wasn't that bad again until my 30th.

 

Depends on whether it's Smirnoff or industrial strength Russian stuff I
suppose
