Well, most of them did as expected, but some surprises after all,
I didn't expect Edwards to be thta high on the list,
the Suzuki looks to be more competitive that last year,
    same goes for the Kawasaki.
I hope for Barros that he still isn;t fit, cause being behind the cube
on an RCV is just impossible.
And what the hell are the D'Antin-guys doing at the bottom of the list,
    even behind Pitt's Moriwaki?

Rossi is a ful 1 and half second clear of the next Yamaha.
Now, were they doing different work, or is Rossi really that quick?

If he is, all we need is Yamaha to find a few tenths and us fans have
a great season to look forward to!!!

  4. After Hopkins, Roberts injured and not sure for the first races, Suzuki in
deep shit. Perhaps Madlin has some opportunity to go MotoGP???

By the end of the three days you can bet that almost everyone will have
thrown on some qualifiers and gone for it. Apart from everything else
qualifying is another essential skill and they'll want to test/practice
it. As you say, first day times don't mean much except that the usual
    suspects go fast.

More interesting is that all the Honda riders commented on how fast the
"new" engine was. Seems like Honda delivered a truck full of
shrink-wrapped engines last week and each team built up a few bikes with
them. So people like Colin are riding bitzas that will get progressively
closer to what Ukawa was riding at the last test.

Well according to Motogp.com the whole "Honda has 3 different kinds of
    bikes" thing isn't true.

    QUOTE ;
Meanwhile in a discussion with journalists Honda Racing Development
Manager Suguru Kanazawa confirmed that the works Repsol Honda team would
always be trying any ‘new’ parts first, but dependent on the factory’s
ability to produce the new pieces, all six Honda riders would be using
them. “This season is very important for Honda, because unfortunately
Mr. Rossi moved to Yamaha,” commented Mr Kanazawa.
