Got a buyer giving me the usual bullshit trying to drop the price. "ive seen
a couple of others cheaper, not my favorite colour" And one thing hes asked
for is the date printed on the brake hoses to apparently conform when the
bike was really made. Surely this just tells him which batch of brake hoses
    were sourced for it?

    fazer 600, 02

Now up for £3200 if anyone wants it.

"Well, you'd better go and buy one of them then."

    Bet he comes back...

  4. Tell him to go and kick someone else's tyres.

Or if you are feeling really peeved ask him why he thinks you are
telling him lies about the bike - brake hose dates indeed! Now he either
is calling you a liar and then you tell him to **** off or else he will
be embarrassed at being challenged on that basis and you gain an
    advantage in the negotiation.

With the extra kit you're chucking in, unless you're desparate for a
quick sale, I'd stick at that price - you've come down from 3700 (which
was definitely too much as you've now discovered).

Sounds like an odd request re the brake hoses - but if he really wants
    to know, tell him!

Personally, I'd tell him that's the price like it or lump it, but he's
more than welcome to have it inspected or HPI'd if he doubts the date.

Actually, I'd just tell him to piss off.

Tell him to **** off and stop wasting your time. If the others are
better then he'll buy one of them. If they aren't and he comes back,
    then stick to your price.

Bugger that. Stick another ton on top when he comes back, "because you don't
    like him" :)

Is this the bike that someone here advised you was worth 3200, but you
maintained it was worth 3800 because that's what they were going for
    on autotrader?

That's an 80 Pin SCA or Single Connector Assembly, very common on drives
for use in RAID arrays. Allows for easy removal.
