    Aha.

Yahoo and motoring.co.za are reporting 2:15 which is a touch more
    believable.

  3. And Autosport-Atlas wrote yesterday that he initially ran laptimes of
2m40s which he was able to bring down to a best of just 2m06 - "Under
the supervision of [Livio] Suppo and former rider Randy Mamola, the
seven-time champion completed a total of 42 laps with a best of
    2:05.98".

That should read "just under 2m06".

    I make no value judgements.

During the surprise outing, which was apparently arranged at Schumacher's
request, the F1 legend began with lap times around the 2min 40secs mark,
but improved to an eventual best of 2min 8secs. Yamaha rider Rossi took
pole at this year's Italian Grand Prix with a time of 1min 49.223secs.

"It was great fun," said Schumacher, who is thought to have only ridden
road bikes before. "I wanted to experience something totally different and
it was very interesting. The guys at Ducati helped me a lot and (former
500cc GP winner) Randy Mamola explained everything to me. It has been a
great experience and I want to thank everyone that made it possible."
