I do, but I think I rather enjoy it.

 

Now I've got the mortgage sorted (and could in theory afford to quit for
a more laid back job) I find it funny.

 

I was sat on a teleconference last week, and then decided it was a good
time to point out that 8 people on a call for 45 minutes = 6 hours of
effort being billed to the project.

The fix however would take 2-3 hours of one person's time...


I'm thinking of trying out AndrewR's '5 people on a conference call'
rule next, for my own well being..

 

I've learnt that opening your gob and saying that sort of thing, can
land you into a lot of hot water. DAMHIK,IJD,OK.

 

But having been assimilated, you're of no further use to them. What you
should have done is speak your mind. Then you would of, well... probably
gotten sacked anyway. :-(

It's a harsh world.
