What's the worst thing that can happen when you want to sell your bike?
Does 12 years of riding experience really mean anything?
Do I have a karma correction headed my way?
Or is this payback for something terrible that I did and forgot about?

May be slow to load. Make yourself a cuppa.

  2. You're taking the piss out of the leader of the Free World with your
email-address-de-plume. The NSA's computers picked up on this, passed the
information on and one of the CIA's misfortune beam satellites was used to
target you and cause you to tip off...

....could also be a case of Michelin Hi-Sides strike again. How faken old are
    those things?
Well, last time I took mine out, I put the rear brake lever through the
Mg-alloy clutch cover, so falling off those ain't all tea&biscuits,
    either...

You ain't a woofin'! Last time I took mine out I lowsided in 3rd gear
WFO (it was an open corner ok). Luckily I only needed about a month of
physio twice a week on my knee. It was quite a while after that before
I could bend my knee enough to get it on the footpeg though, and even
longer before I could kickstart a bike with my right leg. Makes
stalling in traffic even more embarrasing than ususal when you have to
jump off the bike to restart it.

Does anyone really need a bike that's in Prefect running order? The only
Prefects I've seen running have been slow and wobbly.

Fark. That's really a bummer! Did you hurt _yourself_ though, other than
    your pride?

I'll give you heaps of brownie points for honesty. If I had a bit more cash
right now I'd think very seriously about it!

    Hi Jorgen,

Yeah, I landed square on my right shoulder which took the full impact. Was
thoroughly painful for two weeks, and took six weeks to recover fully. No
breaks or fractures though, which was suprising given the level of pain.
Getting the x-ray's done was quite possibly the most painful thing I've ever
encountered. They made me hold a 4kg weight during one scan. That was
    fucked up shit.

    Cheers,

    Xor
