    It was in vogue [1] in the sixties up t'north when I were nobbut
    knee-high to a whippet. It was mainly simple-minded stuff like
    ringing door-bells and running away or lifting gates off their hinges.
    Nothing that involved permanent damage ie it was mischief not
    vandalism.


    [1] The word vogue was in't in vogue though, least not in our circles.
