Securing motorbikes

  1. Sir may wish to read the FFAQ post haste! A quick google will find it.
Sir may also wish to reflect on this comment as Sir has made it clear Sir is
new to the group, yet Sir has persisted in not reading the FFAQ and thus
winding a few folk up. Of course Sir must not apologise for this (its
(probably) in the FFAQ) but Sir should reflect upon the other posters
general demanour and try to be less confrontational until Sir feels that Sir
has become enough of a regular **** to act the ****, as it were.

  3. It would appear not but there's no harm in dropping them an E Mail to
see if a special arrangement could be made.

They've even closed their shop which is a shame as that was an old
favourite of mine. The beer lists are amazing but then I'd expect
nothing more. Interesting to note that they do Farmers Markets in
    London and Essex / Suffolk.

There's a FAQ somewhere... you've got the internet, look it up.
That's the point. You're the noob, you adjust your attitude. The rest of
'us' seem to have ours in order.

  12. If they did, that would take care of the Xmas pressie to our friends in
    Albuquerque.

Youngs used to do 'export' cases of their bottled beers, many moons ago.
    But no more, alas.

FFS, now I have to look it up.

'Alcoholic Beverage Control'. On and off are shorthand for on and off
premises, or in other words whether or not they serve it to you, or if they
just sell it, i.e. restaurant or bar vs. grocery store.

They do use another shop near their old place as a collection point.

    In message
It's worth noting that their beers are bottle conditioned, so you may
find that there are American import controls preventing you. I don't
know if it still happens but Guinness used to be pasteurised for the US
    market.

I can get their testing bloke to see how many seconds it takes to go
through one if that helps :)

    PIR flood lighting.

Decent locks on a garage door; bolts that either go into the pillars
beside the door or one in the middle at the front that goes into the
    ground.

These are good: ebay 330020602848 (to go into the door pillars)
This is good if into the ground: 290023423556

Recessed handle on the garage door (if possible) so there's nothing on
the garage door that can be used to pull it off if chained to a vehicle.

Of course if the bike isn't in a garage... then it's just the PIR
lighting to make the fact someone's around visible.

    You really don't get it.

You come here and ask a question. You're looking for 'free' advice.

If someone else chooses to ramble on about something else at a tangent
what right do you have to complain? What gives you any right to direct
    the conversation?

If you're lucky someone may, through whatever motivation, give you some
useful information but you have no 'right' to this.

That probably explains why it doesn't taste as good as it used to.
