I can't seem to find a good comparison between 2002, 2003 and 2004
results that match anything you've claimed so far.

Pick your own road then. Pick a roadway where you can ride several
miles in traffic and "defend you lane" causing cars to have to
completely leave the lane in order to pass you. You'll be hit and you
know it.

As just a coincidence, we were sitting at Joe's coffee shop yesterday
talking about how goofy your idea was when a bicycle peddled by in
traffic...and he was (big surprise) all the way to the right allowing
the traffic to continue. He wasn't weaving in the lane trying to
prevent cars from passing him. Had he been, he would've been hit and
rightly so.

This is kinda like that old saying "pedestrians have the right of way"
school of thought. If that's so, knowingly step out in front of a semi
or a bus and get hit...then claim that very thing.

Had that bicycle been hit by one of the motorcycles, and caused an
accident, it would've been the bicyclists fault. He didn't have a
right to weave into traffic the way he was doing.
