I found today that not only does the stuff cost £10 a litre but
they've changed the size of the screw top so you can't use your filling
tube with the new bottle.. why ? Do they make big bucks selling filling
    tubes or somthing ?

I did discover that Halfords have 20% off they're bike oils etc. ATM
though, which they don't seem to be advertising much !

Chainsaw oil from a local garden centre or agricultural suppliers. £1.99/L

Yeah tempting, do you know if it's ok with ' O ring' chains,
Some oils effect the rubber don't they ?

    I have just replaced my FJ1100's chain/sprockets after 41k miles. I always
use the chainsaw oil from my local Farm supplies place. Stihl brand iirc.

  6. .....but the fling carries the dirt off the chain.

2.99 for 5 litres.... Ideal for the oil can and the scotoiler. Thanks
    for the heads up.
