What do you think of scotoil 365? Who uses it?

I bought a bottle at the begining of winter and what with it being water
soluable and me riding in the rain a lot it's got used up. Instead of
buying another load, I think tomorrow I will treat some bits of the bike
to a smear of engine oil and others to a spay of WD40 (or 'no
rust-o-preen') It's not that I think it did a bad job, because AFAICT
it has, just I seeme dto get through it quick.

On the Bandit I covered it in waxoil for the winter, but that really was
a sod to get off in the spring.

I just got a 5 litre container from Fowlers. 20 quid. Worked out at a tenner
cheaper than buying 1 litre bottles.

Yes, I can see that would do it. The really nastiest bits were in welds
    and around sunken nuts.

Double T 600 spray's seriously good. It leaves a sort of waxy film but its
not all claggy and hard to shift like waxoil, its much lighter.

  8. Whereas a 5 litre container of chainsaw oil will cost you about a third
    of that.

Think you're getting confused with the Scottoil chain oil rather than the FS
365 spray. I bought 5ltrs direct and it's lasted me about 3 months. Stopped
the Bandit 12 from turning into rust this winter.

Chainsaw oil would work as well...

  11. Ah. Yep, I didn't know that was a spray. If it's a clingy anti-corrosive
spray, I'd think that Scotoil have added a solvent to some chain oil.
