Scooter Drag Racing.

I know....I know...

But some good results need to be published none the less.
I`m sure the good folk and regulars of UKRM will indulge me this little
pleasure?

Conditions favourable with a tail wind and cool air blowing in from the ENE
on the recently "grip juiced" track at Santa Pod.

Several international teams are camping on the desolate airfield ready for
next weeks "Easter Thunderball".

Team Ferretti (no jokes about rabbits) are running a seriously hot top fuel
bike and "testing" at 6.7 seconds at 209 mph!! plus the other majors are
there with exoctica,

We are there in our own transit van with new "sticky back plastic" graphics
proudly proclaiming we have now broken the 100mph barrier at Pod on a
scooter (100.21mph and only the second time it`s been done at Pod EVER).

So we run the scoot...not expecting any improvement but at least a
vindication of the previous results from last week.

I have a theory about pipes ( critical on strokers and wanted to test it
against a base-line) so...

12.8731 at 100.43 mph.

Job done, we now have a ton+ scooter.

12.6220 at 100.66 mph.....backing it up.

12.6509 at 101.35 mph..fucking hell!

Only 3 mph off the world record and out of beer!

So we pack up and save it for another day and on this note and for the
Googlers amounst you we are going for the terminal speed record and not the
time.
11.9 is well with our grasp but we`d like to smash the terminal and take it
to at least a 110mph first

Less of the POS mate.
They are hand -crafted works of art made out of the finest materials such as
Transits exhaust pipes...security fencing..council road signs and used
tampons.

Exhausts are hand bent around immigrant skulls to form the complex shapes
necessary for correct flow.

All welding is done in-house.....until it burnt down..then was done in the
garden

Sprayed by the local cats.
Suspension tested over the best chav heads to straighten the legs.
Ridden by hard core.....er....us ;-)

Diferentiate between a single 2T 30+ bhp single and our POS and I`ll be
happy to buy beers.
These`ll piss all over Aprillia/yam/honda 125`s that are "hurumph" road/race
bikes that are "apparantly" doing ton plus times on the track but fall flat
on their butts on the quarter.

I`ll post a ticket (actually the first time we did a ton) against a GSXR1100
turbo/nos that did....let me look....

9.1 seconds at 157mph and guess what....we beat it !!

Ok.. only up to the first 330ft..but we out accellerate a 9 second bike!

So I don`t mind you calling it a scooter but POS it is not.

Meet me at the roundabout !!!!

Or just race us at Pod and bring what you like `cos whatever it is we`ll
beat you Bear.
