SCO and brakes

Isn't it cool about their website? Ree sult. Don't piss off penguins - they
might bite! Tired of clicking on my browser's "reload" button, I wrote a
touch of java to keep checking to see if it's back up, which I was going to
tag on the end of this, but then thought I might get flamed and refered to
the FAQs... So, I'll just offer it by email to anyone who wants to help do
the work of the virus :)

Right, enough of that rubbish. I was rather hoping someone could give me a
few pointers with my linked braking system. I need to take it all apart to
clean the crap out of the pistons anyway, and I was wondering about
separating the linked parts (not for the first time) while I'm at it,
hopefully to get a bit more power and control out of the brakes. Has anyone
experience of doing this? Predominantly, I'm interested in whether it's
plausible to do it without ending up with "dead" pistons left over, as that
    would seem counter-productive.

    Thanks...

    isn't it cool?

No, it's the work of fuckwit(s) that's causing loads of pointlessly
wasted bandwidth on the 'net, "proving" nothing except that virus
creators are a bunch on unimaginative cunts.

You truly believe it's okay to attack a web site? What if it was your web
    site?

    How's the masturbation going?
Is this where we post lots of pointless stuff to waste your time as you
seem keen to do to others?

In which case you just need to flush the sytem out with water.

I suppose it would be funny if 10,000 people came round with baseball
bats & for no reason, smashed in your VFR?

    No?

In principal, no I don't think it's OK to attack a web site. However, if you
choose to antagonise a community of any sort, it's asking a lot to expect
people not to react. Particularly if you persist when requested reasonably
to stop. I'm actually quite surprised with the 3 reactions so far to my
first post - I'd have thought there'd be more feeling against SCO for
acting like a bunch of cunts. I mean, everything I've read about it
suggests they don't have a leg to stand on, and are quite happy to attack
entirely innocent parties, many of whom may not even understand what it is
they're being accused of. Have SCO actually managed to name a single bit of
code they claim to own, that doesn't transpire to predate them, belong to
IBM or have been proved to be written by Torvalds himself?

Is it legal to do this?

I can't say it would make my day, but if I'd just nicked all their ignition
barrels I might feel I deserved it.

Well SCO haven't stolen anything IIRC; they claimed that others have
    stolen from them.

This is true, but kind of equivalent: in the unlikely event that it
transpires SCO do not have IPR over anything, they would be in effect
stealing it from those to whom it actually does belong.

If I withdraw my original comments, can we forget about the whole thing?

If SCO are found not have IPR over anything then I don't think they've
stolen anything. They've caused others some inconvenience- which will
probably be reflected in the costs awarded against them.

Gosh, you're new around here aren't you. I can tell.

If it's not a VTEC model. You can upgrade the system. Not a job for the
    mechanically inept.

I seem to recall someone completely de-linking the brakes, but it
involved new master cylinders etc. Can't remember why.

I did hear somewhere that they have been demanding (and receiving) license
    fees from some people...
