Schuberth helmets

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Milo Thurston, Dec 3, 2003.

  1. Does anyone know anywhere in Oxfordshire* where the S1 or Concept
can be had? I'd like to try them on before buying.
    Thanks,
    Milo.

  3. Thanks. There weren't any in their Banbury branch, but I'll drop in
to the Kidlington one and take a look.

if these lids are so good, why are they not more widely stocked?

Same story with the Uvex Wing RS. A much loved helmet, but dealers have
better profits in other faster moving brands, so they won't stock them.

  9. I'm not familiar with them. Do you know of any good suppliers?
I must replace the HJC soon - it leaks around the visor, and
    is windy and crap.

  10. The distributor is:

    Headlynz
    William House
    Gore Rd
    New Milton
    Hants BH25 6RJ
    Tel.: 01425 620479
    Fax: 01425 621798
    e-mail:

.... who will be able to provide you with a list of stockists.

I purchased an S1 back in June. Very comfortable and exceptionally
quiet after the OGK Aeroblade it replaced. The ventilation system on
the OGK pushes more air through, although the chin cover on the S1
does close up one significant area where the breeze could otherwise
    find its way in.

  11. Given that neither of those descriptions applies to me, that's libellous! :)

Because they are well-designed, tastefully coloured, discreet and expensive.
They are, therefore, only likely to be chosen by customers who are
distinguished by their taste for the better things in life, their ability to
indulge that taste and their exceptional modesty.

  14. I've got a Shoei Z-One at the mo' - 'twas my first lid and I bought it
because it was the only one that fitted *perfectly*

Tried on a Schuberth (Concept, I think - the full face one with the
sunglasses built in) at the Boike Show and it too fitted perfectly. It
felt _very_ similar to the Z-One (so my head hasn't changed shape
    then, I guess...)

J&S in Hamilton have them. That's just along the M8 for you East
    coasters :)

J&S in Bristol told me last week that they no longer stock them. I don't
know if that was company wide though.
