And I was right, its fucking tight to get out of where the bint did and then
    claim its my fault.

For a wee movie (just over 2mb) click here
    http://www.a4c.co.uk/accident/accident.avi

Im in the volvo estate and the movie shows me doing exactly what her
statement says she did other than actually driving onto her driveway, mainly
because her shiny omega is parked on it. It does however show me stopping
    where she would have.

    Opinions?

PS, general pics of the scene can be found here.

I note that her car is parked such that she would have to reverse out
onto the road every time she wanted to go out. This is against the law
    innit?

Adding to this though, you just reminded me, if you watch the video,
according to her statement there was a car actually parked right beside
where she stopped to make her turn

Oh I dunno. If I understand the machinations of the legal system

    Bollocks is it.

The Highway Code, (which is not *law*, states that it is naughty to
reverse *across* a road when exiting a driveway or minor road.

Reversing *onto* the road is legal. It has to be.

Having looked at the video and your past posts on your RTA, am I correct in
saying this lady has turned right onto a carriageway then within yards has
braked to turn right into her driveway, at which point you have collided
into the rear of her vehicle whilst travelling at 20-30mph?

If so, I fail to see your defence.

However, there are expert witnesses who will be happy to take your money and
do a thorough investigation and maybe, just maybe get you off a charge of
    RLAC.

    "Chas" says to "Donegal Paul"
Yes, although i was in fact filtering past traffic at 30 whereupon she
pulled sharply into said traffic then slammed to a halt, not having seen me
and leaving me no room to manuevre.
    and RLAC is?

Filtering past a right turn then. We all do it, but it's not a smart
    idea.

Sorry mate, I think you're fucked on this one.

I'm trying to envisage a situation where a motorist waiting at a junction
pulls into oncoming traffic to turn right then within yards has braked to
again turn right. None of this traffic has hit her except a motorcyclist . .
.. sorry . . . scooterist which was overtaking that traffic at 30mph. How is
    this RTA her fault?

I still fail to see your defence.
Riding Like A ****, as opposed to Driving Like A **** which is the more
usual offence I come across during the working day.

  19. living on a busy road I can see the justification for not reversing onto a
driveway whenever I have tried it I always get some twat either stop right
up the arse of my car/van or try and push through totally screwing the
manouver up and blocking the road to boot and were talking dual carriage way
    here
last prat had a little orange strip down the side and a funny blue light on
    the top to boot
