You owned a Strom (you got the standard strom ugly jokes),

Now you own a KTM (you'll get the standard KTM breaking down jokes)...

This should be a hint, buy something good looking and reliable next time :)

  4. What, another MYXX of the annual sticker/decal change?
Agree, anything over $100 for a hahahonda is WAYYYYYYYYYYY overpriced

Just the same as all the other Jappers, change the colors and rip off
the labels, not even there own mothers could tell them apart

    PASS

  5. Yeap, sold 2 a year as it was for 911 money [you know a PROPER
PEDIGREE SPORTSCAR] total failure on the market, a GTR would kill it
    in reverse!

*****discontinued ages ago but my local Honda dealer still has one on
    the showroom floor.****

Bwaaahhhhhh!!!, see P.T.B, one is NOT born every minute.

hahahonda should be located right next door to Sims metal, straight
off the production line into the hopper/skip for recycle.

  9. Ever driven one? Try it some time. I agree it was a commercial
failure, but **** they were fun to drive. And they won the first 3
Targa Tasmania's wth Greg Crick and Wayne Gardner driving. Somewhat
trouncing the hoarde of Porsches and Ferraris trailing behind them.

I did the initial (and illegal) stage timing for Targa. We had a
Porsche 930, the NSX and a Falcon XR6 to get a feel what the stage
times should be set at. And get a feel how the different styles of car
would work with those times. Trust me, the NSX was the sweetest thing
to drive and the quickest by far.

I drove both Jack Brabham's NSX, an auto, and the Targa winning
manual version owned by Greg Crick that Gardner went on to compete
    with on a national scene.

Seriously stupid cornering speed and brakes. First time I took
Brabham's NSX out for a quick spin in a quiet spot out in rural
Tasmania, I jumped on the brakes HARD and felt like my eyeballs were
about to pop out. It pulled up way quicker than my Sports Sedan that I
was racing at the time. And I had spent a fortune on brakes. Mind you
I think the NSX was worth about $250k in the early 90s so I guess
Honda had spent more than me :)

A 911 yes, but could not go mental in it as the owner was sitting next
    to me.

A 308 & 355 Ferrari on the race track, yes [passenger seat only, was
offered a drive but no, if i bent it, would own it, so passenger only]

As for the hahahonda, NO never been anywhere near one, can you imagine
me in one, no me neither, would never be able to live it down, besides
i think they are still a bit of a hairdressers vehicle [Like a HD
    *Sportster*{WTF?}]

Oh, and the NoSex only won it twice, 1992 and 1993, most likely the
only vehicle entered, bit like the Moto2 haahonda cup
I did the initial (and illegal) stage timing for Targa. We had a
Looks like you had a ball of fun!

FYI you can buy the NoSex for around ~$30k, 2nd. hand, granted its
cheap v's what it cost new, but i will pass.

It was origional design by Pinnifarina of Italy, and hahonda *copied*
[reverse engineered somewhat] a 348 and went on its own path with it.

Needed a V8 NOT for extra performance, just for bragging purposes

Did sell ok in USA and Japan, trickled out the door in near every
    other world-market

    Cheers

The worst welding I have ever seen in my life was on a Ferrari 348. It looks
like it was stick welded by a tafe student after a pissy lunch. Give me an NSX
    any day.

  13. Ohhh, they are space-frame chassis of mig welded standard, anything is
possible, they still are selling for $100k, triple what the ask for a
    NoSex is....

Don't take to much concern from *looks* of the actual weld, even if it
was just tack-welded it has lots of strength.

NEVER heard of any coming apart, PAPS from Mt.Isa can back me up, he
drives his all through the inner Queensland heat, dust, rough etc.

Nope; not the paint and not just skin-deep. The fugly is through to the
    bone on them ones!

Eye-abusers are a demonstration in how far Bogans will go to be the "most".
(and the fact that they sell so well indicates that the answer is "very"!)

Plenty of Ferraris in unique cars with 20,000kms on them that have just had new
clutches and engine rebuilds. I wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole.

  17. Sounds like Lamborghini.

I nearly bought a Lamborghini Urraco in the late 70s, but took it for
a test drive and it was a temperamental, badly equipped and machined
car. In mid 80s I took a Lamborghini Countach for a test drive and
while it had been put together better, it was simply not a practical
car. Sweet looking thing, but no thanks. 5 years later the NSX comes
out. The NSX you could use to go to the shops to buy some milk and
then find some nice twisty roads and let the thing loose.

Haven't ever driven a Ferrari but imagine the Italian logic would come
in similar. I'm sure the Lambo Gallardo would a generation ahead of
the Countach, but the NSX was already doing it. And if Hatz is right
and you can buy one for $30k, I am bloody tempted.

Addendum, did a search and as per normal, Hatz is talking out his arse
and the cheapest one I could find was $65k and they head up towards
    $100k secondhand.

    WRONG, again!

What the stooged [for buying it in the first place] seller asks [more
than 5 cents is to much for that crapola] and what its sells for are 2
    different things.

Above average mile gray imports sell in the trade for $30k OR LESS.

Or take one for sale for a test drive and take it to a wholesaler,
most wont EVEN WANT IT and it will be hammered at the price they want
    to pay,,,,,,,

Come on down to Alliance auctions out west [Moorebank] and see for
    yourself

    Cheers
