Nice ride yesterday. I had 416 on the ODO by the time I got back to
the ranch. Dont forget to get a new tire Big Ed. I sure would hate for
you to have a flat tire and have to call Brian to come get you. That
might be a expensive tow bill...Twin peaks aint cheap.

I think it only got to 116 degrees. Thanks to Louie for keeping us
hydrated. He hauled the cooler full of ice and bottled water for us on
his homemade cooler rack. He built Big Ed a rack that would double as
a grill but Big Ed never brings the charcoal or the chickens. Thanks
    Louie for the Lunch.

Brian had the Blackbird looking good yesterday. Brian was saying
something to Louie about riding the Blackbird. Louie was going to swap
bikes but Brian was skeered to ride the Goldwing. To much power for
him. Maybe this weekend we can take Brian out and work with him a
little so he can ride Louies Goldwing.

Cheaper than gas in the Jeep...put a trailer (full or empty) on the
back and the gas mileage whomps down to about 3mpg....
Yeah, that cooler might not be on the back of the Goldwing on next
ride. That poor Goldwing was swaying like a pack mule going around
those turns and twists. Louie did good to keep it from scraping on all
    but one turn.
Thanks Redshad! I could use all the help I could get!

I get confused enough trying to negotiate these 40mph turns at 120mph
and maintaining the gearing, rpm, tilt, apex, lean angle in relation
    to the earth's gravitational rotation.....things like that. I couldn't
imagine trying to add on to all that keeping the radio on a good
station, talk on a cb, dial in a GPS to find the next eating place,
keep an eye on the air pressure in the shocks, make sure the TiVO is
set correctly, check the temp around the bike...and make sure the beer
    cooler stays iced down.

Louie sure did a good job keeping up with me as much as he did!!!

    - all joking aside -

If anyone had ever told me a Goldwing would run anywhere like Louie
rides his, I'd say they were full of shit. Granted, I can run off a
leave him at anytime on that Blackbird, but it's supposed to. I'd have
to honestly say if we were evenly matched on bikes, Louie would sure
give me an ass whipping on those roads.

Uh, yeah! I noticed after the Scorpion sounded while we ate lunch,
there were a couple wrenches left around the scene. I figured it was a
local kid that Louie slipped $10 to and was hired to handicap the
    Blackbird.

I guess Louie now has to slip someone $20 to get past the
    Scorpion..... :)

Brian Walker told this: ‘‘If anyone had ever told me a Goldwing

Granted, I can run off a leave him at anytime on that Blackbird, but
it's supposed to. ==I'd have to honestly say if we were evenly matched

    roads.==’’

That's nice of you to admit that, Brian.
We know It aint the GWing Bike, it's the Pilot, Louie.
Next, in line, would be the Skipper.

I've never seen two fellas, ride big Tour Bikes like those two
    gentlemen. /bjay/
