Sasha's surgery went well, the dr was very happy with it all and it
lasted about 5 hrs.So it is looking up from here but will be slow

She is in a lot of pain and on a lot of morphine but quite responsive.
She took her first steps on Sunday which is great. cause I need the
grass mown on the weekend :)

she can be contacted directly on 03 9426 6974 or on her mobile which
are allowed in the hospital, she will have her laptop on dialup
hopfully later in the week so she will be on email and MSN.. if the
phone is engaged then she might be on the net, try the mobile

as for visits, she is in a shared room that is quite small, so no more
than about 2 or 3 at time is really possible. I would say should be
able to take visitors from Monday (during the day would be great). She
is in the epworth hosp at 89 Bridge Road Richmond, enter either Bridge
Rd or Erin St (behind, melways 44 D9). Parking is the best around Erin
St with 2hr parking on the street@ $2.40 or 1hr free parking in some of
the streets behind Erin st...Motorcycle parking on a footpath near you
    :) Visiting hours are 10am to 8pm

she well be in the epworth for the next week or 2 then to a frankston
rehab hosp, I will keep you updated

She is in 3LP 4D or Level 3 Leigh Place, room 304 bed D, use lift 6 or
    7.

please email me at marty "at" iprimus "dot" com "dot au if you want
    her mobile, email or MSN

She is a massive Winnie the Pooh fan, so if you want to get her
    anything :)

Glad to hear all went well Marty.. Pass my best on please.
Could lend you my SO mate if you stuck - but she not the best with the
edging - I keep tellling her not to worry about fetching me a beer
while I supervise her... they don't listen!

When Sash gets the msn up and running will have a chat

Heh Interesting that Deane St is on that map. I used to live there, with my unit backing onto that railway line.

Will try to get in to see Sash this weekend Marty.

    just a quick up date...

Sasha will be in Rehab for at least another 2 weeks so please keep up the
    phone calls and visits.

She is doing physio and water therapy twice a day.
It looks like she has pulled one of the muscles in her back which is holding
her back a little and the sciatic nerve in her left leg is playing up but
bisides this she is doing well and is walking with the aid of a walking
    frame..

thanks to all those that have made her days by ringing and dropping in,
    please dont stop :)
