Santa Pod 7th of May - A Call To Arms

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Apr 14, 2006.

  1. Brethren, sistren, and others, lend me a fiver^W^W your ears.

One Petel of this parish will be at Santa Pod on the 6th and 7th of May.
    See below:
It is our bounden duty to turn up on the Sunday to watch, applaud and
    make "ooh!" noises[1].

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers, we must be there (don't make
    me paraphrase the whole speech).

And if anyone can offer me a lift from North Herts, that'd be cool. I
don't think I want to see this sober...

[1] "ook!" noises for those that will.

    Indeed we must.

If you feel some sort of perverse need to paraphrase in a public forum
then by all mans do but please don't blame us.

If it is raining maybe but if it is looking nice I will go on the bike.

  3. If the weather's fine, it's our bounden duty to turn up on Saturday with
a few portable BBQ kits, tents, and loads of beer and Scotch.

    Anyone else?

Hmm possibly if it fits in with a bit more RD work after the crank is
    back in.

You got the message that the bits are back, didn't you?

You'll obviously need to get the gaskets, seals and what-not. Oh and a
new bearing clip to replace the one that got chewed. ;^)

Yes thanks, only just over the jetlag. 5 timezones in 2 weeks fairly
    messes one up.
I have an order ready to go off to PGM for lots of lovely stuff. May as
well order that electronic ignition system too.

Email me your schedule for the next few of weeks when you get a moment
and we will see what fits.

I'm off to get the XS engine out of the frame now.....
