Santa Clara Valley Peace Officers Memorial Run

The 4th annual SCVPO Memorial Run will be held on Saturday, May 15,
2004.

The day starts at the County parking lot at N. 1st and Hedding Streets
in San Jose with a memorial service for those Santa Clara County peace
officers who have lost their lives in service to the public.

The run itself is escorted all the way from San Jose to Bolado Park (the
San Benito County Fairgrounds), just south of Hollister, where there
will be cold drinks and beer, food, vendors, music, and lotsa bikes.

Run tickets are $20 if purchased before May 7th. See web page for

They're raffling off a 2003 Fat Boy, signed by Willie G. Davidson.
Raffle tickets are $20 each and only 1200 tickets are being sold.

I have nothing to gain or lose, but I've had a good time the past three
years. The food line usually goes pretty fast, which is important to me.
