Salisbury Recommendations

    Any recommendations for hotels in Salisbury? We could stay at Sarum
    College for £40 a night B&B but fancy treating ourselves. Near to the
    Cathedral would be nice as we have business there and in the close.
    Arriving by 'plane and train so parking not an issue. Staying Mon/Tue end
    of January if that makes a difference (prolly fewer noisy revellers).
    Good food a must, real ale a very-nice-to-have. White Hart looking good
    but any dire warnings? Red House? Kings?

    BTDTGTTS also I've looked at trip advisor, but there's nothing like a
    personal recommendation from a local or frequent visitor.
