On my way to the Plymouth Megaride I used the A38. Parked off between the on
and off slip roads at Plympton was a "safety" camera van. It was probably 20
feet or so off lane 1. To be honest it wasn't trying to hide and a van in
longish grass off a dual carriageway should equal suspicions in most
    people...........

Anyway, in lane 1 not 30 feet from the van was a large dead animal - not
sure what it was I was keeping my eye on the road. I would guess it was a
large badger. My point is that the Megaride attracted 6000 bikes an awful
lot of which used this section of road. I would say there was potential for
any bikes up to at least 500 size to have come off if they hit the
thing.............as you would guess the safety van thought it better to
    catch motorists exceeding the limit.

    Rant over.

No money in picking up dead animals.
