Seems like the FIA are a bit pissed off that several of their drivers and
loads of fans were nicked by safety cameras.

FIA is reviewing holding the UK leg of the World Rally Championships in
Wales, on the grounds of safety of course.

"The FIA has therefore asked its safety delegate for a report on the
suitability of the local public roads for a world championship event."

Haha, seems like the local Police Commissioner will be having his budget
    cut.

    Nice one.

They should bring the rally back up to Kielder forest. As long as they stay
off the A1 and the A68 nobody will give a **** how fast they're going.

Ain't that the truth. I've not been to a rally since they changed it to "The
    Rally Of South Wales"

I saw that too - so they make £7500 in fines and 'making the roads safe' but
    stand to lose £15 million.

But that's okay, because the roads are safe now for the unemployed people to
    walk on.

Given that Uberscamerafuhrer Brunstrum is Chief Constable of North
Wales, and dense matter generally sinks, it was inevitable his moronic
obsession with SCAMeras would eventually gravitate to his colleagues
    in the south...
