Safely housemoved, and back on-line again

The trip up to Canberra from Melbourne was uneventful, except for a
shredded tyre on the trailer about 1km from the start of the trip on
Sunday. We took a calculated risk and drove up to Albury, then got it
fixed before starting the second half of the trip on Monday.

The truck, trailer and car are unloaded, but unpacking is scheduled to
    be completed sometime around February.

Moved back into my old house in Gordon, and it's almost like I never
left. At least the annoying yapping dog next door is 3 years older and
    a bit less energetic.

Is anyone planning to be in Canberra over New Year's? We won't be back
on bikes until we can get licenses and car registrations changed over,
but we're looking forward to the new GT650R and the elderly GPz900R.

Oh yeah, and a BIG thank-you to Moike and Mrs Moike for their help with
packing on Saturday, and dinner on Saturday night. We couldn't have
    done it without you.

Too true, although this time there's not a whole lot to burn nearby and
I don't have both my arms in splints.

That'd just about buy you a spoke nipple for a race wheel, wouldn't it?
    ;-)

Good to hear that you've healed up enough to ride and win though. I'll
see you at work on the 2nd.

Well, I'm planning to be just up the road waiting for a baby to pop
out from it's hidey hole! :) Any moment now...

So I wont be going anywhere, but if you feel the need for a
ride/drive, you're always more than welcome to call in any time you
    like.

I'll try not to follow that line of thought!

Just got back from Frogmore/Boorowa, after introducing my brother's
kids to PET-bottle water rocketry this afternoon:

Nice ride up that way too. Rode through Frogmore on my way up to Sydney
last month. Especially liked Reg Hailstone Way.
