Wasn't exactly great - not that many stands, what few bikes there were,
were mostly shite or overpriced or both so it didn't exactly come as a
surprise that I recognised a few bikes from other 'jumbles.

As a consequence, not much loot was carried away. I got a few bags of
cable ties, an O-ring assortment, more Autosol and a repro rear light
(one of those round thingies with the big 'Stop' lettering across the
    top) for the chopper.

Oh, and a piston + conrod from someone's scrap heap. They're from some
ShiteOldBritBike and very long stroke at that so the conrod's rather
long. The're pretty much scrap for engine applications but the plan is
to somehow remove the piston and use the conrod as a side
numberplate/rear light holder on the Triumph instead of that shite
'headstone' rear light that's on there at the moment.

Mined ewe, I may need some help here with the machining - WUN, you
    listening?

I am. I'm kind of busy for the next week or so, but if you're not in a
hurry then give me a shout after the 19th.

I'm definitely not in a hurry on this - for starters I'll have to get
the piston/conrod assembly disassembled and it's all nicely corroded
    together.

Once that's done and I've scored either some sheet alloy off-cuts or
some plain steel to make the numberplate mount, then it's time to think
about mounting the actual light and then the whole thing on the bike.
That's mostly where I'd need your help as that's likely to involve
    lathes and other interesting machinery.

Maybe I should try that one then...
Got away cheaper than I did then.
