Rust on screws

    Whats the best way to clean these up ? The screws and surrounding area on
    the front discs have slight rust splatter.

    Fine steel wool and WD-40.

    Brass wire brush wheel on a bench grinder. (I'd advise removing the
    disks and screws from the bike first).

    Thats the worry with steel wool as well but I think I will give Als
    suggestion a go

    PS. You'll still need to repeat my suggestion every so often. You'll never
    beat rust on naked metal but if you can coat it with WD40 every so often or
    at least after every wash then you'll do well at keeping it at bay.

    What about replacing the screws with stainless steel equivalent - or get
    them plated (nickel or chrome?).

    Well paying over $25,000 one would assume that the screws would be stainless
    or plated ?
