Russian Tulamashzavod Special Cross Country http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2427773989&category=32074 Seen one of these before? I had never heard of Tulamashzavod until I purchased this one. It is a Russian built Tulamashzavod "Special Cross Country Motorcycle".The owners manual details descibe the bike: Motorcycle no.000051, Engine no.96270, Frame no.B18111, Date of production 30/08/94. It is a 200cc 2 stroke engine,4 speed gearbox, twin rear shock, drum brakes, electric or kickstart. The odometer has 393km but the speedo is not functioning. It has all lights and indicators fitted, it should have batteries but none are fitted. It has a large compartment under the seat, the kickstarter is on the left and the muffler is mounted under the engine. The bike has a cowl over the engine similar to a lawnmower with a fan to push air around the engine fins. It has pressed steel 2 part rims and the hubs are greasable, the bike runs well and the engine is very quiet. For a 94 model it has the technology of a japanese 1980 model but it has done very little work and looks like it.It is missing a small section of the R/H sidecover and the middle section of the chain cover otherwise it is very complete. It has no compiance plate so I am not sure about rego, the owners manual is very comprehensive and includes maintenance details and wiring details. Not really sure what else to tell you but this is a very clean, unusual, maybe collectable machine.Look on the internet and see what you can find on Tulamashzavod,I could only find details of their military and heavy industry buisness.Could be a great part of your collection, none of your friends will have one of these!I can deliver within the local area or further by arrangement, thanks for looking and please email me with any questions.
