No surprises. Check the name of the OP in that link and you'll see
    why.

Well, that's kinda what I was referring to; not so much the "where" as
    the "who".

    Although, I s'pose I shouldn't really be surprised.

**** it - ride it now while it's damaged, because if you crash it, the
cost to repair won't be increased by much.

Indeed. I think I'll put my "ugly lights" back on for the event and
hopefully have my Tarzan horn sorted, too.

There could be blows over what is considered a decent or realistic price
    [1] though.

    [1] Before the crash, obviously.

Don't worry, if you *do* go to the EOSM, you CHAG but watch out for the
brakes, the sticking throttle and worn top suspension bush.

How many camels for your daughter?
it'll take me a while to ship 'em in so she'll have a chance to get a few
more years under her belt before I can pay-up mind. ;o)

    ROFL.

Sounds like a plan. Only needs the gear lever sorted for me to ride it
,the wing mirror is still in place and only needs a bit of gaffa tape to
    stop it wobbling around.

Mind you I'm a bit suspect of the bike now because I couldn't see any
obvious reason for the front to slide out like that.

Although the tarmac at that section was new. Maybe it's that new super
    slippy stuff <fx googles>
