Just seen some Rukka kit at the local shop and been given the "big sell"...
It does look very good, its machine washable, quite pricey but seems to
tick all the boxes for protection, hot, cold and wet weather riding.

Does anyone here use it and / or have any opinions ?

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Nick says...
I think TFL are wankers and Red Ken needs a broken bottle shoving up
    his jacksy. That's my opinion.

  4. I have Rukka kit, their midrange stuff made of Armacor but without the
super expensive outlast thermal stuff. It is excellent kit.

Last year I was knocked off the GS and at the time I was also wearing
Rukka stuff, although their entry-level kit. That too was excellent
and despite sliding down the road at 40 mph, nothing broke and the
    jacket and trousers remained intact.

It is somewhat expensive, but frankly I couldn't give a toss. It's
their to protect me and keep me warm and dry. It has done and
continues to do all these things.

    Hi Andy,
Thanks for the reply - pretty much the story I have already heard from
others - one guy said that in the event of any damage at anytime it gets
replaced with new current kit... I will look into it some more - looks
    alright too !
    Cheers,
    Nick

  6. I had a Rukka waterproof overjacket thingy, cost me a fiver from the BMF
some 8 years ago. Served me well - kept out wind and water and showed no
signs of serious wear. Sold it on e-bay recently for £25.00 so it even
returned a healthy profit. I don't know what their "proper" bike gear is
like but if it's anything like the above it should be fine :)

  7. I used to have Rukka stuff and it was pretty good. Wrapped up like a
fireman in the bib'n braces trousers with the matching jacket, nothing
got in (or out). It was tough stuff and survived a couple of offs quite
    well.
