Royal Enfield motorbike - why would anyone buy one?

    I used to average 70-75 mpg on an XL600 on those roads, closer to 80 on
    longer runs.
    Under start & stop riding conditions (urban commuting) the mass of the
    vehicle influences both fuel consumption, pad & tyre wear. A 125 is much
    lighter compared to most middleweight bikes. Except for the early
    offroaqd 600s, mine weighed 140 kg on the road.
