Unless you pick a common roundabout.

I have no chicken strips, but you can lean the bike more than you need to
    can't you?

    Yes.

On a roundabout if you hang off to the left (i.e. you try to keep yourself
upright and lean the bike over instead) then the bike will lean more than if
you hang off to the left (i.e. do it properly).

Somebody else can tell you why, but not me.

A suitibly witty reply seems to have escaped me :) But yes, I'd love a
    bimble if you're around.

In theory you can lean less by hanging off, but in the real world the
amount people hang off seems to be inversely proportional to the speed
they go around bends ime. In fact I've only ever seen one rider hanging
off & going seriously fast at the same time. Of course this may just
mean I need to get out more.

I'd say if you haven't got any front chicken strips, you're probably
leaning as far as you want to. So try circumnavigating your favourite
roundabout in your normal riding position, then start sliding your bum
off a little at a time whilst maintaining the same speed. When you've
got an entire cheek dangling, you may be able to tell if you're leaning
the bike less than when you started, & can therefore speed up a tad. But
probably not without lots of practise as the world feels like a
different place when you're in an unnatural position.

<impressed> *All* the way through? I seem to recall that the slowest
corner (the second, or the first righthander) limited me to about
    100mph. Or was it 120?

Flame away, but I find this reads ...

    1) I *NEED* to do a certain speed round a certain roundabout

I have finally been able to bend my knee joint enough to ride the B12
today. Fooking Great !!! Whatever happened to *just enjoying biking" ?
I can honestly say, I've never wondered what speed I've done around
a particular roundabout. I'm not VR so it doesn't matter ;-)
