  2. The tiger was out before you were even a tadpole in your old mans ball bag,
but the 750 tiger didn't come out till mid or late 1970

The Bonneville engine size was increased to 724 cc in 1973, and called a
    750.

  4. The TR6 was named that because it had a 650 motor
the TR7 was named that because of the 750 motor

What I said, the tiger didn't produce the 750 till 1973

you will not get a pre 1973 tiger with a 750 motor

I had a speed twin 500 and also had a tiger

I do have a few books on Triumph and that is where I got most of my info
other info came from user knowledge and info gleaned from Triumph experts

No shit, that's why I listed it
    No you didn't you said

"The year is wrong as the 750 motor TR7 didn't come out till late
    1970's "

Which you posted AFTER I had corrected the year from 1969 to 1973, AND
abused Atec as having no clue when he said he thought the tiger 750 was
    1972

    Anyways. Whatever.

Thanks everyone for the pricing opinions.

  7. Soakay, the first reply came straight out of my mind, then I checked again
which proved my mind was somewhere else at the time, I was recalling ,or
trying to recall, which bike I had and when I had it and other friends bikes
    as to which model etc.
SO, what the ****, I have got Old Timers Disease, that's my excuse and I am
sticking to that, you will get it some day
You never know, I could have been riding with your old man at some time or
    another,

depends on whether he is old enough

    No prob.
P'raps. Uncle more likely, old man lived out bush most of his adult life.
Probably not, he's showing no signs of old timers yet.

  9. Don't have to be old to have it, and that's why I thought it was your old
    man and not your uncle
