    jpeg! jpeg!
Please could you ask around for ideas/bits.
It's the big boss and bearing on the primary side which make it a viable
    bike engine.

Racer with elctronic ignition and minimal lighting legality was wght I had
in mind. Can't afford two Mags, but could hide the electronics inside a
pair of shagged out Mag bodies quite easily. Will require a battery
though, so may as well have lights to make it road legal.

No lights YKIMS,keep the weight down, and sorry but no picturs because
I have no site to post to at present, however you are welcome to come
and have a prod, it is part restored at present and is on shelves in the
workshop, the shiny parts are ornaments in the house, and the oily parts
are in the neighbours workshop, at present I am looking for mudguards and
my petrol tank has gone missing (1)

Unexpected expenses for such a project will include cycle thread taps,
tinwork and so called experts asking the earth for blocks of
unidentifiable rust and white oxide that is a KxV sommat (V twin magneto
actually) bonuses are beaded edge tyres at sub £40 each, and beech
footboards (pikey wilco beech bread boards are perfect donors) dont think
about carbide lighting sets as a concours unit will cost more than a small
car and will be the wrong type anyway, also it is acceptable to have
painted spokes, rims and hubs, and they look good as well.

Also you can if you wish do your own nickel plating, however it was phased
out in the late 20's and looks crap when it tarnishes.

    Have fun.

    (1) Dont ask.

Bruce Preston raced sidecars against them in the 60s, and remarked that they
were either very fast or pointing the wrong way.
