Cranks are available, timings gears are made new. Most other bits are made
these days too, amazingly enough. There are quite a few people racing
morgans as well, who seem to be able to source new parts, and occasionally
    complete new engines.

Well the DTZ's were water cooled, so it's feasible.

I was thinking of going aircooled OHV with a couple of Matchless barrels
    and iron heads.

The Blingmobile's watercooled, innit? You could rig one in the topbox...

    is too much?

I'm not bidding if it isn't.

You'll make it look like a Goldwing, festooned with bogroll holders and
towel rails. What you need to be concentrating on is the christmas tree,
tinsel, flashing lights etc. Not long now.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
Not until the 1st of December. I have a rule.

Then it's *definitely* getting a Crimble tree. And a suitable CD.

    Ho-ho-ho.

  18. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Salad Dodger
    Hmm...nice.

Oh, buggeration. I have had a project in mind for a while now, in the
form of publishing a story on the web in defiance of copyright
restrictions. It's a wonderful "Boy's Own" type story about a
homebuilt cyclecar using a JAP engine, that is not on the web as far
as any of the search engines can tell me and I unearthed it in a book
    from the '60s.

Now I think it's time to get my finger out and start typing - publish
and be damned, with full credit to the author and take it down smartly
when bollocked for it. You'll love it and I'll blame Rog.
