Rossi's outfit

Discussion in 'Motorcycle Racing' started by Krister Bruhwel, Apr 8, 2005.

  1. Does anyone know what "WLF" means on Rossi's leathers? He seems to
always have it on the tab thats on the top of the chest.

Another one is "Tribu Dei Chihuahua" (close?) on his helmet. If I
knew Italian, this would prob be obvious.

I've heard that "Che Spettacolo" means "What a Spectacle". He had
that on his shirt when he won the 2004 championship.

Not sure about WLF, but the people he hangs with call themselves the
    Chihuahuas.
So " tribu dei Chihuahua" is a tribute to his buddies

I read in a motorcycle mag -- Sport Rider or Bike, I seem to recall --
some years ago that "WLF" stands for "Viva La Figa." (Apparently in
Italian, the "V" is abbreviated with a "W.") According to the magazine
article, the phrase is Italian slang for "Long live / I love [women's
female genitalia]." Any Italian speakers out there that can confirm?

I don't know what WLF means but I know that "W La Figa" means "Hurrah
    for the pussy" for sure.
