Reports that he's started negotiations with Yamaha for at least one more
year. So we will probably get to watch him in 2006. But after that?

And F1? He may get test drives but he will have to be good to get a
    permanent place.

So far I'm sure he's only dabbled in it.

  7. The current (May 18-31 2995) issue of the local bike mag (Australian
Motor Cycle News) has a "SCOOP: Rossi on those F1 rumours" - it quotes
    his as (allegedly) saying:

"So now I say - I will finish my career in MotoGP. I will never stop. I
will be here for another 10 years."

    Though it also says elsewhere:

"Valentino Rossi to F1 in 2007? The headline was too tempting to resist
to an Italian newspaper, after some addmittedly ambiguous comments from
Yamaha team manager Davide Brivo - but the facts of the matter, if any,
proved elusive. Rossi, who confirmed to AMCN MotoGP reporter Michael
Scott in China that he hopes to stay with Yamaha in 2006 and had made no
decision whether to continue bike racing in 2007, shrugged off the
    question."
