Ducati's Casey Stoner raced away with the title this season with Rossi finishing third in the standings, the first time he has finished outside the top two in any category since his rookie season in 1996. Italian Rossi will stick with Yamaha next season but has given the team a warning. "If it gets better I can wait another year.
