Former world MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi said he would be
interesting in riding for Ducati in 2009 if his Yamaha bike does not
    improve next season.

Ducati's Casey Stoner raced away with the title this season with Rossi
finishing third in the standings, the first time he has finished
outside the top two in any category since his rookie season in 1996.

Italian Rossi will stick with Yamaha next season but has given the
    team a warning.

"If it gets better I can wait another year. If not there is nothing
left to do," Rossi told www.gazzetta.it.

"I have a good relationship with both (Ducati and Honda), but
definitely I would prefer Ducati because they are Italian."

after the stunts he has pulled once the pressure gets to him (like
last yrs low side, engine shitting itself last round but nothing was
wrong etc), I think hes gone. His best has been, and now hes on the
    downhill.
