I thought the pic might interest one or two people, I thought the forum
    probably wouldn't.

    Worryingly I rather like it.

Catman <> banged this out on the
    bongos:

A more classic racer style would make me like it more, but then I just
don't like the look of modern race-y bikes.

    I wonder if anyone's made a Nimbus-alike from a Rocket3?

I have to say that when I first saw a Rocket III IRL, it rather
underwhelmed me, but apart from the rather garish colour, I like that.

Well, if you like it, here's a picture of the other side. The other
side's a bit untidy - the bloke's put a load of unsightly plumbing on
that side which supposedly makes it go faster.

Mine's the lardy cruiser version, and it still scares the shit out of me
if I accidentally twitch the throttle when going over a bump.

if it were black, maybe I'd like it too.

but I'd hate to be seen to agree with you even slightly on matters of
taste and aesthetics[1] so **** off.

[1] mildly pleased I can spell that at this time of the morning[2]
[2] what the ****** am I doing up?

    Well, you do have history.

I think the pics are deceiving. It is actually a lot bigger than it
looks there. I mean, it appears to be a slightly bigger Speed Triple
with the engine round the wrong way, but we all know it's really twice
the size/weight/bulk of a Speed Trip.

I realise that size means little to you, especially bearing in mind the
aforementioned history, but we need a basis for comparison of scale.
