    Great fun.

Lots of sun, minimal rain, lots of beer and one of those acts of
stupidity than cannot be repeated. Well, not for at least 5 minutes.

Forget the bands, the highlight of the weekend was this morning when
all were gathered around a couple of stoves either cooking or watching
the cooking being done by those more able.

Someone noticed that one stove was running low on meths and when it
was suggested that he carry out a 'hot fuelling' . The top was removed
from the meths container and it was liberally slopped over the still
burning stove. Flames went everywhere and the container caught fire
along with a reasonable amount of dry grass. Cue much stamping on
grass and throwing of coffee and water to extinguish the flames.

After the laughter had stopped and the refueling man had eased the
burns on his hand with water the cooking was started again. After a
few minutes it was noticed that the stove hadn't received much fuel
and it was just about dead. Someone again suggested hot fuelling and
jokingly said it was ok this time because there were no visible
flames. The same refueling man removed the top from the meths
container and yet again slopped meths over the burner. Cue more
burning grass, more cups of coffee being thrown and much laughter.

I'll not name and shame, I'll leave it to the person to come forward
and receive the acclaim he deserves.

What bands? I must have been more pissed than I initially thought. In
fact I must have passed out and not made it to the arena.

It's OK - as long as nobody ruins your hard-man image by mentioning that you
were so pissed on G&Ts that you went to bed at 9:30 last night you'll be
    fine :)

That's not going to happen though. I've decided that 330ml cans of gin
and tonic aren't really a good idea if you want to see a band later
that evening but in different circumstances they're great fun.

I blame Adie for doing the second run to Morrisons to fetch another
    load of cans.

For what it's worth the two of you doing synchronised falling over was
one of the highlights of the whole event, with Andy's custard story
    coming a close second.

Did you have cans of chilled Gin & Tonic, because that's what Adie went to
the shop for - we had plenty of beer.

Also nobody took your mobile number, although we all agreed that we had it
    on our computers at home.

Thats the other advantage of using a bike, they don't search them and Adie
can have here *large* bottles of WKD.
