  1. That's a bloody good price. Cheapest I can see on Biketrader is £2.4k.

    it's not a mint road bike - it's definitely a "road-legal track bike"
    - pattern fairing, scratched tailpiece etc. On the plus site, it's got
some nice CF bits and pieces (front mudguard, hugger, air-intake
tubes) and a nice-sounding Hindle full race exhaust system.

How do you get on with it, being about the same height as I am?

They always seemed a bit on the long side to me.

long? Not really - well, not so I really notice. I suppose there isn't
the same feeling of having your head over the front wheel, like on the
'blade, but it's not a problem. It's also very stable at the front
end, which is nice. I'd be surprised if it were anywhere near as
    "long" as your ZRX.

If you really meant height, well, yeah, it's a little taller than my
'blade, or maybe it's just that the seat is wide. Anyway, I can
flat-foot one side, and toes/ball-of-foot the other side - not a
    problem at all.

I expected it to feel heavy, as it is, but it manages to hide it quite
well, except when pushing the bike around the car-park/garage. Again,
I suspect your ZRX is heavier.

I think in all cases you're right, the ZRX is heavy but only at low
    speeds.

On paper the ZX7 looks like a lardy old bus, but the reality always
seems very different, and the looks are something quite special.

I quite like them really, and I'm toying with the idea of bikes I can
afford when I get around to PXing the SZR.. whenever that eventually
    turns out to be.

I've always like the looks of them, even since before I past my bike
test 8 years ago. I really need to take it on the track to see what
it's really all about, I expect.

Which I think isn't that great as I always had in the back of my mind that I
needed to ride the thing home :)
